In Week 8,  Miss Fletcher gave us a science lesson about Matariki.

In Week 7, we were learning how to write using personification.  We looked at lots of poems that had personification in them and then we had to write our own. Here is some about flax and stars.

Te Reo Maori

 For Te Reo Maori we have been learning to ask and answer questions about classroom objects. I have created a google draw to share some.

Play make create

In Week Seven of Term 2, we did Play Make Create. This is where the teacher reads you a

story and you discuss the message in the story. Then you create something based on the

message and also do a piece of writing. You can use materials or make a digital creation. 

This week Mrs Craig Read the book: The Day the Crayons Quit.  It was about how the

crayons all wanted to quit.I chose to show how the white crayon can stand out and also I used garage band to create

a summer beat.

This is a book about a Twig who struggles to find friends until they mad her a scarf to standout.
